By downloading or using ResumeAI, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before using the app.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ResumeAI (the "App"), developed and operated by CodeHunk Technology ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 years of age if you are located in the European Economic Area) to use ResumeAI. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under the applicable age, you must not use the App.
3. License to Use the App
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any part of it
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems or infrastructure
- Use the App to generate resumes that contain false, misleading, or fraudulent information
4. Premium Subscriptions and Payments
4.1 Free Tier
ResumeAI offers a free tier with access to selected templates and core resume-building features.
4.2 Premium Subscription
Premium access unlocks all templates, advanced features, and future premium content. Subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis as displayed in the App.
4.3 Billing and Renewal
Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device's App Store or Play Store account settings.
4.4 Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests are handled by the respective platform in accordance with their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.
4.5 Restore Purchases
If you reinstall the App or use it on a new device, you can restore your premium access using the "Restore Purchases" option in the App, provided you use the same Apple ID or Google account that was used for the original purchase.
5. Your Content
You retain full ownership of the resume content you create with ResumeAI. We do not claim any rights over your personal data, work history, or any other content you enter into the App.
By using the AI Import feature, you grant us a temporary, limited license to process your uploaded document solely for the purpose of extracting and returning resume data to your device. No copy is retained on our servers after extraction.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content in your resumes. Do not include information belonging to others without their consent.
6. Intellectual Property
All content within the App — including but not limited to the resume templates, design elements, graphics, and software — is owned by CodeHunk Technology or licensed to us. These materials are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Exported resumes you create using your own content are yours. The underlying template designs remain our intellectual property and may not be extracted, resold, or used outside the App.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
- The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times
- Any resume template or output will be accepted by any employer or application system
- AI-extracted resume data will be complete or accurate
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CodeHunk Technology shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for a premium subscription in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10 USD, whichever is greater.
9. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with the following third-party services, each subject to their own terms and privacy policies:
- Apple App Store / Google Play — app distribution and payment processing
- RevenueCat — subscription management (Terms)
- Hugging Face Spaces — AI resume extraction (optional feature)
We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Termination does not entitle you to a refund for any unused portion of a paid subscription.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice. Your continued use of the App after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CodeHunk Technology is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction. If you are located in the EU, you may also have the right to use local dispute resolution mechanisms.
